The principle of operation of a tube diffuser in aeration systems is based on the distribution of air through a perforated tube to create fine bubbles, which enhance oxygen transfer efficiency in the water.

STANDARD 2® Diffusers
- The OTT STANDARD 2 tube diffuser is ideal for retrofitting existing wastewater treatment facilities. It features patented engineering, including an integrated air channel for uniform air flow and a membrane mounting ridge for secure, wrinkle-free positioning.
OTT diffusers provide highly efficient fine-bubble aeration. STANDARD 2 diffusers are easily installed on rectangular headers with 30, 40, or 45 mm (1.57″ or 1.77″) diameter outlet openings using double-threaded connectors available in PP-GF, stainless steel, or brass. They can also be installed on round headers with 20 mm (0.79″) diameter openings using a saddle-contoured adapter, ensuring secure mounting and resistance to high temperatures and formic acid.
Available in stock lengths of 500, 750, and 1000 mm (19.69″, 29.53″, and 39.37″), STANDARD 2 diffusers can also be custom-fabricated to specific lengths for specialized applications.
MAGNUM® Tube Diffusers
- The OTT Magnum Diffuser represents the pinnacle of advanced aeration technology for wastewater treatment plants. Engineered for superior performance and efficiency, the Magnum Diffuser is designed to meet the rigorous demands of both municipal and industrial wastewater treatment applications. With its innovative features and robust construction, the Magnum Diffuser ensures high oxygen transfer rates, energy efficiency, and long-term reliability, making it an essential component for modern wastewater treatment processes.
OneX® Tube Diffusers
- OneX® tube diffuser features patented air ducts and membrane guide beads, ensuring optimal air distribution and secure membrane fit. Aerator strings connect to the main distributor via an adapter, reducing material costs and environmental impact. The one-piece PP carrier body is heat-resistant up to 120°C (248°F) and resistant to formic acid. Choose from EPDM (FLEXNORM®) or silicone (FLEXSIL®) membranes, with various perforations available. Usable lengths range from 500mm to 1,000mm, with custom lengths possible between 200mm and 1,650mm.
